But on a March night in 1964, 3-7 neighbors in Queens, ny, witness the murder of Kitty Genovese. Not one of them calls the police or takes action. 3-7 tells the story of a few of those people when they unexplainably remained passive observers and that which contributed to the night. The film is a persuasive portrayal of a borough in change and a time characterized the Civil Rights Movement, by racism and shifts. The event that motivated the plot of the film was called a logo for its moment when America lost its purity. The director Puk Grasten weaves by directing us through a apartment building that concerns maintain a collective failure family conflicts and various fates, fantasies.
