Women's Murder Club
The police procedural and legal drama Women's Murder Club ran on ABC from October 12, 2007, to May 13, 2008. The series takes place in San Francisco, California, and is based on James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club" book series. Along with Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner, and R. Scott Gemmill, the creators of the series, Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, also worked as executive producers. This person also ran the show, and Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts also worked as executive producers. Scott Winant was in charge of the pilot. The show was made by 20th Century Fox Television and first aired on Friday nights at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central. ABC asked for three more scripts on October 31, 2007. On February 23, 2008, it was announced that the show would come back with three new episodes at the end of April. This was just two weeks after the show was almost canceled. On March 31, 2008, it was announced that Women's Murder Club would be back with three new episodes starting on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central, taking the place of Boston Legal. On May 12, 2008, ABC confirmed that the show would not be back for a second season.
