Weeds is an American series created by Jenji Kohan. The character is Nancy Botwin, a widowed mother of two boys who begins attempting to sell cannabis to encourage her family after her husband dies suddenly of a coronary attack. Over the course of the show, she and her relatives become entangled in activities that are prohibited.
