Taken known as Steven Spielberg Presents Taken, is really a science fiction mini series which won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries and aired about the Sci-Fi Channel in 2002. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, it had been written by Leslie Bohem, also headed by Breck Eisner, Félix Enríquez Alcalá, John Fawcett, Tobe Hooper, Jeremy Paul Kagan, Michael Katleman, Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, Bryan Spicer, Jeff Woolnough and Thomas J. Wright. The producers were Steven Spielberg and Leslie Bohem. The series follows the lives of several families: the Crawfords, that try to cover up the Roswell crash and the existence of aliens and takes place. The Keys, that are subject to experimentation with the aliens. And the Clarkes, that sheltered one of the living aliens from the crash. As a consequence of the narrative, maybe not a single star or character appears in every episode of the set. Reception was favorable, and the series won an Emmy Award. The Sci-Fi Channel used the establishment of the company Coalition for Freedom of Information in its advertising effort, when the series was established. Both the Sci-Fi Channel and the Coalition for Freedom of Information are customers of Washington, D.C. public relations firm PodestaMattoon, and also this apparent co-mingling of customers was criticized. The Coalition for Freedom of Information is a group which seeks scientific in addition to the release of UFO files that are political, congressional, and press credibility for the analysis of this particular subject.
