Shipping Wars
Shipping Wars is possible television show on A&E that began airing on January 10, 2012. The show follows six separate carriers that have discovered that fortunes can be produced transporting items which carriers may not or won't haul. The show also features uShip, the planet's biggest online auction house to truckers. For Season 1, the carriers are Scott and Suzanne Bawcom, Roy Garber, Jennifer Brennan, Jarrett Joyce, and Marc Springer. You Start with Season two, the team of Robbie Welsh along with Christopher Hanna replaces the Bawcoms. Season 3 started on December 12, 2012. New shippers Johnny Chavez and the team of Courtney Aguilera and Chelsea Grant look in Season 4.
In an average episode, bids are placed by the carriers two tasks listed on u-ship. Each client has the choice of awarding the work to the lowest bidder, or to a higher bidder based on feedback from customers. Ties are broken in favor of this carrier with the higher feedback rating. Winners load their cargo and try to send it complete by your customer's deadline. Proximity ratings from customers are displayed as the loads are delivered. At the episode's close, each carrier's net profit or loss is tallied on-screen, with the expenses deducted out of the bidding level to ascertain the profit or loss. Occasionally, a carrier will arrange to haul one or more loads on precisely the same trip, with the money.
