Robot Wars
Robot Wars was a British game show modelled on a US-based competition of the same name. This had been broadcast on BBC 2 from 1998 until 2003, with its final show broadcast at 2003 and 2004. Additional string were filmed for certain industries of the international market, including two series of Robot Wars Extreme Warriors with U.S. competitors for the TNN system, and 2 of Dutch Robot Wars to get supply from the Netherlands. The set of this United Kingdom Robot Wars was introduced to the USA about TNN and hosted by Joanie Laurer. The roboteers formed The Fighting Robot Association carry .
The show included teams of professional and amateur roboteers who made their robots to fight each other in both tournament and friendly matches. As well as fighting eachother, they had to avert that the"House Robots", that were not bound by the identical weight or weapon limits as the contestants. Robot Wars had peak viewers of 4 million, and was successful in its own merchandising.
