Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

During this time period, humankind has split into two distinct subspecies: Naturals, who live on Earth, and Coordinators, who live in orbiting colonies and have undergone genetic modification to make them more resistant to the rigors of space. After the invasion of a neutral space colony by the Coordinators, the plot centers on a teenage Coordinator named Kira Yamato who becomes embroiled in the conflict that is raging between the two different races.
