Little Women
Little Women, also known as Wakakusa no Yon Shimai, is a 1981 Japanese animated television series adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. The series created by Toei Animation for its Kokusai Eigasha company and is led by Kazuya Miyazaki.
The series was produced like a follow-up to a TV special based on Alcott's book by exactly the same cartoon studio. Even the TV series character layouts differ slightly from those of this TV special. Jo, by way of instance, while she is blonde in both variants, has curly haired hair rather than straight hair in the TV series.
This string is sometimes confused with Nippon Animation's 1987 World Masterpiece Theater TV series founded on Small Women, Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari, since both series were dubbed in English and broadcast on U.S. satellite tv from the 1980s. In addition, both tv-series share a voice celebrity: Keiko Han, who plays Beth in this TV series, was throw in the 1987 series as Meg.
