Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an animated television series that broadcast 79 episodes over six seasons from August 2004 to May 2009. The premise is founded on a straightforward query. In a world where children's imaginary companions are real, actual beings, what happens to them as they grow up? Are they abandoned or do they survive? According to Craig McCracken, they obviously go to Foster's! Foster's is a home for imaginary friends whose children have outgrown them, where they can live together until adopted by a child who needs them. The show follows Mac, a quiet and imaginative 8-year-old kid, whose mother forces his imaginary friend Bloo to move in with the Foster family. Mac does not want Bloo to be adopted by another child, thus it is agreed that Bloo will not be placed up for adoption as long as Mac visits him daily. Bloo's arrogant and mischievous character is diametrically opposed to Mac's, and the two of them together generate pandemonium throughout the house.
