Family Feud
Family Feud is a American game show in both families compete against one another in a contest to name the most popular responses to a questionnaire question. Mark Goodson and Bill Todman made the show at the USA, now airs in several formats.
Since its premiere in 1976, Family Feud has aired during 30 seasons. The show was based on ABC and was hosted by Richard Dawson in 1976 until it was cancelled in 1985, at which stage it have been widely popular on either the network and from syndication. The show enlarged until its cancellation in 1993 to an hour-long arrangement in 1992 along with was revived by CBS in 1988 using Ray Combs. Combs hosted on the corresponding syndicated show when Dawson replaced him before being stranded in 1995, for a single season, which enlarged to an hour-long arrangement. Later variants were hosted Richard Karn, by Louie Anderson, and John O'Hurley. Since the 2010--11 tv season, Family Feud was hosted by comedian/actor Steve Harvey.
The show's ratings were said to have improved considerably under Harvey. Family Feud's ratings were said to have improved the full 40. During the 2011--12 season, the fast-rising game show averaged a 4.0 and became the 5th highest rated show in every one of syndication. As of the 2012--1 3 season, Family Feud has become the second highest rated show in every one of daytime television programming. In 2013, TV Guide ranked it #3 in its listing of the 60 game shows.
