Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is a 1987 CBS drama series. The relationship between Vincent, a mythic, noble man-beast, and Catherine, a savvy Assistant District Attorney in New York, is at the center of creator Ron Koslow's updated version of the fairy tale, as is a secret Utopian community of social outcasts living in a subterranean sanctuary. Vincent senses Catherine's emotions through an empathetic bond and becomes her guardian.
