Angry Boys
Angry Boys can be a Australian tv mockumentary series compiled by and starring Chris Lilley. Continuing the mockumentary style of his former show, the series explores the difficulties faced by young males in the 21st century -- their affects, their pressures, their fantasies and ambitions. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays with multiple characters: S.mouse, an American rapper. A Japanese mommy that is devout, jen. A winner, blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a protector at a juvenile detention centre. Along with her grand children, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.
The show is really a Coproduction involving US cable channel HBO along with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation , with a pre-sale to BBC Three. Filmed in Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011.
