The Sweet Hereafter

There is in Canada A small mountain community devastated when a school bus accident renders over a dozen of its children deceased. A lawyer arrives to help the survivors' and victims' families organize a classaction lawsuit, however, his efforts only seem to push against the townspeople. At precisely the same period, one teenaged survivor of the accident must figure with the loss of innocence set off by a different type of damage.
