Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan's actual story is an engrossing battle to overcome insurmountable difficulties and the struggle to communicate. Helen Keller contracts scarlet fever as a child. She is blind, deaf, and mute as a result of the sickness. Helen is isolated from the rest of the world and is unable to communicate with anyone.
