The House on Carroll Street
After being fired for refusing to name names to a 1951 House Un-American Activities Committee, Emily Crane finds a part-time work as an elderly woman's companion. One day, she notices a loud debate taking place in German in a nearby house. This is made more noticeable by the fact that one of the participants is her major senator prosecutor. She starts looking into things and gradually enlists the assistance of FBI agent Cochran, who was initially assigned to check her out. It's better to be prepared for bad situations.
