The Cousin

A "cousin" named Nounours is an informant who has a deal with the police that gives him 10% of any drugs that are confiscated with his help. Following the suicide of his personal contact, Inspector Maurin, Inspector Gérard Delvaux steps in. At the same time, Judge Lambert is revealing the police officers' wrongdoing. Her dogged research finally trapped Maurin, and now points to Gérard and Nounours as the suppliers of the heroin that caused recent fatal overdoses. In order to avoid having to expose his true identity to Judge Lambert, Gérard is determined to fulfill Nounours' promises of ever-larger catches.
