The Barcelona Vampiress

At the turn of the twentieth century, Barcelona is essentially two cities coexisting next to one another. The first one is aristocratic and progressive, whereas the second one is dirty and sleazy. When the news spreads that Teresa Guitart, the young daughter of a wealthy family, has gone missing, it causes shockwaves to travel across the entire country. Enriqueta Marti, a woman who is also known as "The Barcelona Vampiress," will quickly become a suspect in the eyes of the authorities. The journalist Sebastia Comas makes the decision to walk into the Raval neighborhood's labyrinth of streets, brothels, and secrets. There, he will discover the gloomy truth surrounding the gruesome murders and kidnappings of children that the Vampiress is accused of doing. His investigations will uncover a corrupt elite that will do anything to keep their disgusting vices hidden from the public eye.
