Katarina is two decades old. Using a troubled past in a suburb, her life is apparently already set in stone - until she finds music. What changes when she hears a performance of Mozart's'Requiem' at the Gothenburg Concert Hall that opens up a planet that is beautiful and sends her reeling. She feels that she's to change her entire life and get away from her awful reality. However, the course she's got to follow along proves to be a one, full of a liaison, betrayal and also lies with the conductor Adam that is wed. Yet Katarina is ready to do anything to attain her identity.
