Protégé

For the past seven years, undercover officer Nick had been infiltrating the heart of a drug ring, working his way up the ranks from his beginnings as a street dealer to his current position as a cargo delivery manager for Kwan, the largest player in the local heroin market. When the ill Kwan appoints Nick as his protégé, Nick can't help but bend in the face of money and power, and he soon finds himself acting in the role of a true drug trafficker. Nick becomes increasingly perplexed about his true identity as a result of this, as well as his relationship with heroin junkie Jane, which ultimately leads to a terrible conclusion.
