Pavement

Alaskan tracker Samuel Browne works in the state. When his sister dies in San Francisco in a horrible way, he goes there to find the person who did it. As more murders happen, Buckley Clarke, a police officer, reluctantly teams up with Sam. The bosses think this is a serial killer who picks victims at random, but Sam and Buckley find a pattern involving people who work in neonatal intensive care. Doctors aren't supposed to act like gods, but a decision made years ago pushed a killer to the edge of madness. Can they track him down?
