Nazarin

Nazarn is the priest who abandons his order to undertake a pilgrimage. He shelters a prostitute wanted by the police for murder as he travels around on alms. When she escapes captivity, she eventually catches up with him and he is cleared of suspicion. Soon after a second woman joins the duo, the ex-priest learns more about the human heart and suffering than he ever did when he wore robes.
