Murmur of the Heart

This plotted tale follows the life of 15-year-old Laurent Chevalier because he stumbles his way. After having his first sexual encounter with a prostitute and dodging a priest's lips, Chevalier contracts a case of scarlet fever. Chevalier is put in a sanatorium, together side his adulterous and over-attentive mother, when the fever leaves him with a heart murmur.
