Lorenzo's Oil

Lorenzo Odone was a typical kid until he was seven. Strange things started happening to him after that: he would have blackouts, memory lapses, and other strange mental phenomena. He is eventually diagnosed with ALD, a rare, incurable degenerative brain disorder. Frustrated by doctors' and medicine's failures in this area, the Odones decide to educate themselves.
