Indiscretion of an American Wife

Mary Forbes, a married American, becomes involved in an affair with an Italian man, Giovanni Doria, while on vacation in Rome. Giovanni confesses his love for her as she prepares to leave Italy; he does not want her to leave. They wander the railroad station where Mary is to board a train to Paris, where she will eventually reunite with her husband and daughter in Philadelphia. Will she give up her old life to pursue this passionate new romance?
