Hang Time

Marlborough's renowned grapevines star in this comedic film, which was shot in 11 days at a winery. Harry (Hayden J Weal from Chronesthesia), a twenty-something, gets dumped by his fiancée just days before their wedding in a vineyard. As they try to cheer Harry up, two of his friends make sure the wine doesn't go to waste. Casey Zilbert wrote and directed the film, which was inspired by Ernest Hemingway's classic novel Fiesta (aka The Sun Also Rises) about drunken expats in Europe. Hang Time is Zilbert's debut film; she studied Fiesta and wine science at university.
