Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist

Inspired by acts that the Nazis forced him to participate in, the Father Lankester Merrin that is disenchanted concentrates his energies on helping using an archaeological dig in the northern part of Kenya. There, the crew finds a church that predates missions in to the region, but the discovery also induces strange events to begin occurring -- for example physiological changes to a young, disabled boy, that Merrin grows to guess has been possessed with a demon.
