Deep Dark Canyon

Bloom Towne is actually a sheriff underneath the thumb of this well-established, deeply influential Mayor Dick Cavanaugh's family. When Nate Bloom's two sons and also Skylar unintentionally kill and shoot Dick Bloom's long-held allegiance for the Cavanaugh clan is tested. Skylar (still a minor) decides to get the wrapping due to his older brother Nate, asserting he fired the fatal shot. The Cavanaugh family retaliation sends Skylar on his way to county jail to be tried as an adult. Guilt-ridden and desperate, Skylar breaks and sets off a string of acts that ship them deep into the forests and also busy. Bloom's choice between his sons and regulations results in revelations of older family secrets that threaten to destroy everything he loves.
