Danton

Danton and Robespierre were close friends and struggled together in the French Revolution, but Robespierre was the ruler, chose to get rid of opposition with a streak of mass executions that became famous as the Reign of Terror of France. Danton known as a spokesman of those individuals, had been residing in privacy in the countryside, but telephone for its public to demand their own rights and he also came back to Paris to battle Robespierre's barbarous rule. Robespierre, however, could not accept this type of struggle, even from a friend and colleague, and he blocked a plan to the capture and execution of Danton and his own allies.
