Broadway Danny Rose

A talent director called Danny Rose, by helping a client, gets dragged involving the mob. His story is told in flash back, an anecdote shared one of a group of comedians over lunch in New York's Carnegie Deli. Rose's one-piece gift service represents countless incompetent entertainers, including a one-legged tap dancer, and one slightly talented one: washed up sofa singer Lou Canova (Nick Apollo Forte), whose livelihood is on the rebound.
