Whilst the Russians invade Berlin in the spring of 1945 A nameless woman keeps a journal. She is in her early 30s. Her partner, Gerd, a writer, can be the officer at the front. Russian is spoken by her and, for a day or two following the invasion, keeps herself safe, but then the rapes begin. She resolves to restrain her destiny
