A Viking Saga: The Darkest Day

Cast into a violent and bloody planet of murder, Hereward, a novice monk, has to send the Holy Gospel of Lindisfarne - a book of terrific beauty and power - into the safety of the Iona monastery, while being chased by a Viking passing squad hell- bent on its own catch. On his way into the monasteryhe meets a swordsman who answers his insecurities and devotes his entire life to protecting Hereward while the book is delivered by him. In the middle of their travel they are faced with Vikings ready to kill as a way to get what they want, leaving Hereward and his own shield in their mercy.
