A Cool, Dry Place

A single father juggles his career as an attorney with caring for his five-year-old kid and coaching high school basketball in rural Kansas, where he relocated after his wife abandoned him in Chicago. Just as he begins a new relationship with a veterinarian's assistant, his ex-wife reappears and wishes to re-establish her presence in her husband and son's lives. Along with the romantic strife, he is provided with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a major law firm in Dallas.
