Warmed-Over Krautrock
What do you do when you love music, and also music doesn't love you back? It's a concern that haunts Walt (Jim Tavaré), the proprietor of Necessary Music, an indie record store in the heart of Silver Lake. Walt's all too familiar with how his punk-rock glory days are fast fading in the rear-view - also as he can't assist stating war tales to his much more youthful employees: Lysette (Kate Dalton), that has to contend with a ceremony of customers convinced she's the Document Store Lady of their desires; Chris (Derek James Elstro), the diva of Distressed Meats, a band positioned for departure, as well as maybe not simply in Chris' mind; as well as well-meaning music nut Duane (Adam Weber), that's a little also well-versed in Rock Critic for his own great. With a love of all kinds of songs evident in every shot, WARMED-OVER KRAUTROCK is a funny for anyone who's ever before invested too much time consuming over playlists - and also for anybody that's ever been driven crazy by that sort of individual, too.
