The Iron-Fisted Monk
Iron Fisted Monk HK superstar Sammo Hung's directorial debut, is now a highly effective old school kung fu movie which sees the portly one at his summit onscreen as well as calling the shots behind the camera. Husker (Sammo) is really just a student of the Shaolin monks, learning kungfu so that they can his uncle, who had been murdered by the dreadful Manchus who control the state. He renders his training early, desperate to teach the killers a lesson and also teams using a martial artist monk (Chan Sing) who's teaching a set of factory workers just how to defend themselves. After the Manchus strike the mill and kill everybody there, also his pal that is Buddhist and Husker decide it's time to even the score.
