Watership Down
Watership Down is an animated tv series adapted from the novel of the same name by Richard Adams. It was made by Martin Rosen, and a Coproduction of All Time Entertainment of Canada.
Watership Down aired on YTV in Canada and CITV in the united kingdom in 1999 to 2001, for also three string and 39 episodes, though the latter did not broadcast the next series. It starred several actors, including Phil Jupitus, Rik Mayall, Stephen Fry, Jane Horrocks, Dawn French, John Hurt, along with Richard Briers , among others. Stephen Gately sang a new arrangement of Art Garfunkel's"Bright Eyes", that had been contained in the 1978 feature film, whereas Mike Batt and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra led a completely new score. In 2003, composer Eric Robertson as well as David Greene and Mike Batt were nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Original Music Score for a Dramatic Series for their job on the series.
Some incidents from the adaptation were published on later and VHS , DVD. In October 2005, a spot 2 DVD boxset of three string had been released in britain.
