Of Kings and Prophets

An epic saga of ambition, faith and betrayal as told through the resentful prophet Samuel, the eyes of this battle-weary King Saul and the young shepherd David--on a collision course. One thousand years before Christ, the first king of the Israelites, Saul, struggles to merge the 12 Israelite tribes and shield his nation contrary to enemy attacks that are savage. The prophet Samuel relays a message that he needs to destroy among Israel's ancient enemies. However, when Saul defies that particular message, Samuel prophesies that the kingdom of Israel wills tear from him and choose the following in his place. Over time, Saul comes to understand that his threat won't come from his opponents, but by the courthouse.
